KVIC records Rs 1.15 lakh cr turnover in FY22, reports MSME Ministry New Delhi, May 2 (KNN) During the fiscal year of 2021-22, the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) has recorded a turnover of Rs 1.15 lakh crore at a growing rate of 20.54 per cent.

The MSME Ministry has called this achievement as a distant goal for all the FMCG firms in India.

Crediting Prime Narendra Narendra Modi’s constant support towards Khadi products, the Ministry has claimed that this development makes KVIC the only company in the country to have recorded a turnover of Rs 1 lakh crore.

As compared to overall turnover of Rs 95,741.74 crore in 2020-21 it grew by 20.54 per cent in FY 22 which was recorded at Rs 1,15,415.22 crore, revealed the Ministry.

In view of registration, the overall production in Khadi and Village Industry sectors in 2021-22 has seen a growth of 172 per cent.

While the gross sales during this period increased by over 248 per cent, the ministry said. (KNN Bureau)
