Margao: Motor Company on Wednesday launched its first ‘modern-retro’ motorcycle- the TVS Ronin inspired from the modern, new-age rider and designed with the style, technology and riding experience to promote an unscripted lifestyle.

Speaking at the launch of the motorcycle in South Goa TVS Motor Company, premium- business head Vimal Sumbly said, “Motorcycling at the global level is changing. It is moving from serving a functional purpose enabling self-expression, freedom, and the willingness to explore. Inspired by our customers need to chart unscripted journeys, the TVS Ronin will carve a new segment based on an emerging lifestyle free from stereotypes, dated codes, and legacy

baggage.???

TVS Ronin marks the company’s entry into the segment of premium lifestyle motorcycling and will be available in three variants- TVS Ronin SS, TVS Ronin DS, and the top variant TVS Ronin TD.

The highlights of the range include comfortable riding experience across terrains combined with a digital riding experience with configurator for effortless customisation, digital cluster with SmartXonnect and AR experience through the TVS ARIVE app. Along with the motorcycle, an exclusive range of branded world-class merchandise and custom accessories and riding gear and a dedicated experience programme was also launched.

Key features of the TVS Ronin include all LED lamps, signature T-shaped pilot lamp, asymmetric speedometer, exhaust and muffler design, chain cover, 9 spoke alloy wheels and block tread tyres.

With regards to the tech, the motorcycle contains a digital cluster with distance to empty (DTE), estimated time of arrival (ETA), gear shift assist, side stand engine inhibitor, service due indication and low battery indicator as well as voice assistance, turn by turn navigation, incoming call alert, custom window notification and ride analysis on the TVS SmartXonnect app.
